The print servers allow users to connect dot matrix and laser printers to all types of environments including Ethernet and Token Ring networks using IBM type 3/RJ45 cabling and WLAN, entirely eliminating the need for cables. Simply plug the unit into the printer’s Centronics port and connect it to the network (each pocket print server supports one printer).
After just a few minutes of configuration, your network printer is ready for operation. The Print Servers are supplied with Administration Software. Alternatively configuration may be carried out via Web Browser, FTP or SNMP Management Software.

How it works:
The print server is connected directly to the parallel port of the printer. The unit is powered by a small external power supply (provided). The Network Manager will need to configure the device for address and protocol using the Administration Software provided. The fast throughput rate of up to 1Mbyte/s ensures optimal use of the performance of the printer's Centronics port.
